Following the success of the band's four albums, DRACONIAN will play a headline show in Tel Aviv, Israel, in February 27th at "Barbie Club".

The band's last show in Israel was in summer 2007 together with the swedish metal act THERION. Now DRACONIAN returns to Israel and will be supported by the israeli bands DISTORTED and DESERT. Ticket sale will start in November 20th, online sales will be available at Ravenmetal.com.

The band is proud to announce their appearance on next years Wave Gotik Treffen. The festival will take place between 29th of May and the 1st of June 2009. The performance date of DRACONIAN is set to the 30th of May.

DRACONIAN will perform live in Ukraine the 4th and 5th of October at:

-Melody of Darkness fest (Culture Club, Rivne)
-Doom Over Kiev II (Bingo Club, Kiev)

DRACONIAN is scheduled for one live show in Moscow, Russia, at Club Tochka the
8th of November 2008.

For all US fans, the new Draconian Album "Turning Season Within" is available by Hot Topic, one of the biggest chains in the states with 700 stores.

The entire new album of DRACONIAN, "Turning Season Within" is now available for pre-listening online on the official MySpace-site, from 21st of February, with start 24:00 CET to release date on Wednesday the 29th. No voice-over and no fades.

This is a co-operation with MySpace Nordic.

The 8th of March DRACONIAN will have the release party of their latest effort "Turning Season Within".

The event will take place in Karlstad, Sweden, at the Arena nightclub. The doors open at 22:00 and the band hits the stage around 23:30. Admission only 80 SEK (approx. 8,50 Euro).

DRACONIAN's brand new album "Turning Season Within" will be released the 29th of February (4th of March in the US) through Napalm Records. The band's fourth effort contains the following nine tracks:

Israeli female fronted metalband Distorted have invited Lisa Johansson as a guest vocalist on their new album. The production will take place at Studio Underground, Sweden; where both Draconian and Distorted have been recording before. Lisa will share this honourable guest appearance with the great Thomas Wikström of Therion (ex. Candlemass and Talk of the Town). For more info visit Candlelight Records website.

Draconians fourth album is now completed. It was born in Fascination Street studio (Opeth, Katatonia, etc.) in Örebro, Sweden, during September. For this recording the band invited U.S. Novembers Doom vocalist Paul Kuhr for the narrative parts of the album. The album, which will be entitled "Turning Season Within", has just gone through the last stages of mixing and we can assure you; producer Jens Bogren did an amazing job in shaping Draconians so far heaviest and most reflective creation. The release is set for late January 2008.

In other news; Draconian part ways with keyboardist session-member Elena Andersson after 14 months of service. The band gives their thanks and wishes Elena the best of luck in her various musical projects and future endeavours.

Draconian also would like to take the opportunity to thank Yishai, Yuri and Raven Music for their amazing kindness and generosity for having us in Tel Aviv, Israel performing together with Therion and Distorted in late August. Also a big salutation to the Israeli fans for their compliments and incredible dedication.

Also thanks to the promoters, crew and fans at the Metal Female Voices Fest for a great and rewarding experience.

Draconian will play their very first show in Israel; opening for Therion on August 30th in Merkaz Hayeridim venue, Tel Aviv. This will be the first show for Draconian in the holy land after the great success of the bands three albums. The set-list will include songs from their whole discography and special t-shirts will be designed especially for the show.

The Draconian quest continues. The band has booked the prominent Fascination Street studio (Katatonia, Opeth, etc.) in Örebro to record their fourth release in September this year.
Currently the band is in the last stage of song writing and pre-production recordings in order to finalize this new saga. The album will generally deal with a more diverse and intense sound than previous releases, which should attract both old and new fans as well. The title of the album is yet uncertain, but a few new song titles are "Seasons Apart", "The Failure Epiphany" and "Morphine Cloud". Stay tuned!

Draconian is happy to confirm that the band will perform at the 5th edition of Metal Female Voices Fest, taking place in Belgium the 20th of October 2007. Other acts attending are Leave's Eyes, Sirenia, Epica and Battlelore among others.

Draconian will perform live for the first time in over a year at The Rock in Copenhagen, Denmark, the 26th of January. Opening act will be Danish doom/death band Whelm. Doors open at 21:00

T-shirts and long-sleeves with "The Burning Halo"-print are now available from Napalm Records Online-shop. "Arcane Rain Fell" merchandise is also still available.

The recently announced European tour together with Battlelore has been cancelled due to booking- and financial problems.

Please, note that Draconian nor Battlelore has nothing to do with the cancellation. The band is deeply sorry about all the disappointment this news brings.
